St. Petersburg, Russia, 1865. A young man commits a violent murder in cold blood. He considers himself a Napoleon, acting for a higher purpose. Gradually confronted with the seriousness of his crime, only Sonja, a downtrodden prostitute, can offer a chance at redemption.
Morgan Creative were thrilled to tour a production of a brand-new adaptation of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's timeless story in October and November 2017. The play featured an ensemble cast of 10 performers and a live score. It was directed by Luke Morgan, with musical direction from Jake Morgan. It was adapted by Irish playwright Philip McDonagh.
